Since our inception in 2003, volunteers have been vital to the success of the Dispensary of Hope.  From recruiting local health care providers to donate medication to spreading the word throughout communities, volunteers continue to help the Dispensary of Hope provide prescription access to patients in need.  

Anyone across the United States can get involved with the Dispensary of Hope by helping spread the word and/or recruiting health care providers to donate medicines.  DOH Advocates can give as much or as little time as their schedule allows.  The Dispensary of Hope provides everything you need to spread the word and participate in your community. 

While we're always interested in meeting and working with smart, committed people with a diverse set of skill sets - our immediate needs include:

• Pharmacists interested in donating time in our Central Fill Pharmacy,
• Individuals willing to call on physician practices - asking them to joint the Dispensary of Hope network through donating unused sample medications,
• Professionals willing to lend their expertise in the areas of IT, distribution, marketing, social entrepreneurship or other areas that might help the Dispensary of Hope better innovate around the unique needs of our patients and Dispensing Sites.
